Hey,I'm Lydia
An English Wedding & Elopement photographer based in Norway
I’m a photographer and a proud mom with a deep passion for exploring the great outdoors. Whether I’m trekking through mountain trails, camping under the stars, or sitting by a fire roasting marshmallows, you’ll almost always find me with my camera or drone in hand. While I cherish life’s simple joys, I also have a love for fine food, exceptional wine, and stunning resorts in dream destinations.
For the past seven years, I’ve been fortunate to call Norway home. During this time, I’ve met incredible people and explored some of the most breathtaking places on earth – from towering mountains and crystal-clear lakes to pristine sandy beaches. Norway’s raw, natural beauty makes it the perfect backdrop for a truly magical elopement or wedding, and I feel so lucky to capture love stories in such an extraordinary setting.
My passion for photography began at a very young age. I was always drawn to cameras and could spend hours exploring camera shops. As a child, I filled countless disposable film cameras, eagerly awaiting the thrill of picking up the developed pictures from the store. There was nothing quite like the excitement of seeing those moments come to life.
Over time, my love for photography only grew stronger. After what felt like an eternity of saving, I finally invested in my first professional camera – a tool that quickly became an extension of me.
While I’ve always been passionate about photography, its true importance became clear to me through some of life’s most profound experiences. Becoming a mother showed me how fleeting time can be – my first baby went from a tiny newborn to a spirited three-year-old in what felt like the blink of an eye. Suddenly, those sweet, early days existed only in my memories and in the photos I had captured.
I also felt the power of photography after losing my grandparents. The images I had of them became treasured windows into moments I could no longer relive. It was through these experiences that I came to truly understand the value of preserving life’s most precious moments – and why photography means so much to me.
